So here I am, sitting in the computer lab at USU, procrastinating going to class, when what to my wondrous eyes should appear, but one of those bug traps with the sticky goo inside designed to lure and detain unsuspecting critters. And what is in the bug trap? I know what you're going to say: BUGS, stupid! Well, that's true, but it's not what I'm getting at. No, the correct answer is Trix cereal! Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Trix just for kids? What is it doing inside a bug trap. Perhaps they figured the Box Elder bugs weren't responding well enough to the prospect of a slow and sticky death, so they thought some sugared cereals might add just the right incentive. Well, I hate to burst the bubble of the USU facilities personnel, but it really isn't working. Box Elder bugs are still running rampant around the Family Life and Ray B. West buildings. Kudos for creativity, but I think the current plan needs some revision. Better luck next time.
